ABOUT US

The Whitby Lions Football Club was founded in 2012 to provide the youth of Durham Region with an organized non-contact football program.  The Lions provide boys and girls the opportunity to learn core football skills, be physically active and have fun.  

 

The Whitby Lions Football Club is run by a volunteer board or directors.  Each director has a passion for the game of football and is 100% committed to providing members with a top-notch football program.

To join our team as a coach, board member, or general helper.

Coaches:

We are always looking for coaches, whether you're interested in bring a head coach or an assistant.  No experience necessary

Setup/sideline help:

Game day we are always looking for people to help set up and take down the fields as well as scorekeepers.  

( we also offer volunteer hours for students)

OUR TEAM 

Mike and Susie are proud owners of the Whitby Lions flag football league.  They started off as volunteers, while watching their 2 kids play, and are now excited to continue growing the league and creating a fun, positive football experience for local kids and families!

Trinity and Tanner are the future of our club!  They both started off as players at the age of 7 and can now been seen running the sidelines, refereeing games and head coaching a team or two.  During game day if you need any assistances please do not hesitate to ask either of them for help.  They'll be happy to guide you.
