All registered players must be paid in full before participating in any WLFC activity.

 

Requests for refunds must be submitted in writing to the Board of Directors.  Email requests are acceptable and can be sent to info@whitbylionsfootball.ca.

 

• All refunds are subject to a $50 adminstrative fee

• Up to 21 days before the start of the season, full refunds* will be provided

• Up to the 2nd game of the season, refunds of 50%* will be provided

• Refunds will not be provided after the second game of the season

In the event that the season is shortened or unable to be completed due to Covid outbreak or other restrictions imposed by external regulations, WLFC reserves the right to apply a credit towards the following season in place of a monetary refund.

Use of photograph or video for advertising or club promotion

All registered players with the Whitby Lions Football Club, authorize the WLFC to use testimonials photos or video/electronic excerpts for any brochures or advertising.

 

Player and Spectator Code of Conduct

All registered players and their parents or legal guardians agree to abide by rules in the Code of Conduct and to the following waiver and consent:

 

I, the applicant, on behalf of myself, members of my family, my heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, hereby forever release, discharge and to hold harmless the Whitby Lions Football Club (WLFC), teams, members ,representatives, volunteers and/or agents of the foresaid organization for any injury, loss, of damage to my person or property howsoever caused, arising out of or in connection with my taking part in football activities, and notwithstanding that the same may have been contributed to or occasioned by the negligence of the WLFC and/or it’s membership, representatives or volunteers. 

 

CONSENT 
In case of a medical emergency, I understand that effort will be made to contact the aforementioned individuals. I hereby grant permission to the WLFC volunteers/representatives to transport the above named player to a local doctor or hospital for medical treatment if necessary. 
In the event a listed contact cannot be reached, I hereby give permission to the WLFC representatives to hospitalize, secure proper treatment, order injection, anesthesia or surgery for my child as named above, on the advice of certified health care professionals. 
I understand that there is an inherent risk to all sport and fitness related activities, and accept these risks freely, releasing Whitby Lions Football Club and all its volunteers from responsibility associated with that risk
